How to make a Curved Line in Photoshop Elements
Step Number 1: Creating a New Layer in your Photoshop Space
If you want to create a new layer in Photoshop, you will be able to find that in the Create a New Layer icon that you will find in the left corner of the software. You will be able to find this option in any version of Adobe Photoshop and this will definitely come in handy in the long run.
In most cases, the icon is that of a sheet of paper that has a folded corner. Please do keep in mind that most of the works that you do in Adobe Photoshop usually starts with either importing the image or creating a new layer and then working on that layer. When you click on the “Create a New Layer” icon, you will have a new layer above the Background Layer, which you can work on and create in order to work your way up.
By making a new layer above the background layer, you will make sure that the work that you do on the top layer won’t affect your original image and this will make you work with an ease of mind. The name of this layer will be Layer 1 by default. We will have to draw the Curved Line on that.
Step Number 2: Drawing a Round Selection with Elliptical Marquee tool

Step Number 4: Erasing the Unwanted Sections from your Line
You can erase unwanted things by pressing the Eraser toll that you will find in the Toolbox. You need to size the cursor for the Eraser Tool so that it is larger than the Stroke that you have created. You can use the left and the right Bracket Keys from your keyboard so that you can see change in the size.
After that, you can erase the part of the Stroke that you don’t want by dragging. After that, just a bit more touch and Boom! You now have a nice and smooth Curved Line that you wanted to get.
